The Menagerie Crew

Captain Seetamyn is a Vulcan's Vulcan. Logical to a fault, he does tend to be a bit long-winded. There is just one, tiny problem - he has a fragment of a Human consciousness lodged, deep in his mind, and it tends to come forward after the Captain suffers severe physical trauma. So far, in Season One, he has lost an arm and both legs.

Don't ya just hate when that happens?
The ship's First Officer is the fierce Klingon, Thog. Her nasty exterior hides a deep core of insecurity and self-doubt. Her family can trace its ancestery back to the time of Kahless, but in all that time, they have been honor-less servants. Thog joined Starfleet to escape a life of servitude, but her enthusiastic discharge of her Security Officer duties got her moved to the Command Staff and transferred to the Menagerie.
The ship's Security Chief comes from the Gamma Quadrant. Commander Banjo is a Changeling. Worshipped as a God by the people of his Quadrant, he came to the Menagerie with nothing but disdain for the inhabitants of the Alpha Quadrant. He has, grudgingly, come to respect his crewmates, but his opinion of Humans dips lower every day.
After Commander Thog's hopeless decision to make herself more like the woman she thought Sperr deserved to have, Commander Banjo was promoted to First Officer. Taking his place as Chief of Security is Lieutenant Commander Gisech. Gisech is a Graaken, a species known for their completely sociopathic violence!
The ship's Chief Engineer, Lieutenant Commander Ustrano is a Velvattian. Leaving a fruity-smelling trail wherever it travels, the multiple-tentacled Ustrano is ready for any emergency.
The Menagerie's Chief Science Officer(s) are B1 and B2 from the planet Bynarus. Actually, their names are identification codes consisting of hundreds of 1's and 0's. For convenience, they allow the designations B1 and B2 to be used (not that they are ever separated or that the crew could tell the two of them apart, in any case.)
Doctor Pish Jantoo spent most of her childhood in Cardassian Labor Camps. After being liberated by the Federation, she devoted her life to ending suffering. She tends to be a bit skittish, but with the support of the rest of the crew, and especially that of Banjo, she is learning to be more forceful and proactive.
Lieutenant M'Dral is the Menagerie's Benzite Ops Officer. When excited, she tends to hyperventilate, just a bit. This wouldn't be a problem except that Benzite respirant is visible. Normally, the resirant disperses without difficulty, but when M'Dral gets going she can completely fog in a small, enclosed space -
like the Bridge of a Starship!
Lieutenant Dil Mantron is the ship's Betazoid Helmsman. Most Captains would be overjoyed to have a Betazoid as part of their Bridge Crew. Not Dil. He was bounced off of twelve ships before finding a home on the Menagerie. Why you ask? Simply because he has no psychic abilities. It didn't seem to matter that his skills at Helm are unequalled.
The Menagerie's Shuttlebay Chief is Lieutenant Aceed Sperr. One of the very few Saurians in Starfleet, the Lieutenant provides the love interest for the lovable Commander Thog. His family owns hundreds of hectares of prime vineyard on Sauria Prime and produce some of the very best Saurian Brandy.
Ensign Hirthnole is in charge of Ship's Services. An extremely competent Tellarite, he has spent his entire career ignored and forgotten. On the Menagerie his skills have finally been recognized and appreciated. Now if someone would just appreciate his naked karaoke unicycle riding!
Ensign Zamtra is the Menagerie's Transporter Chief. If you think its is a bit unsettling to have an Ensign as the Transporter Chief, try having a Tamarian who half the time speaks in allegories!
Linnea is the Menagerie's Hospitality Officer. After Guinanco refused to set up their customary lounge on the ship, for undisclosed reasons, the renegade Orion, Linnea offered to run the place. Her 'Pirate's Cove' is the envy of the fleet.
Last but not least, is Admiral Sontak. The head of Project "Open Arms", Sontak is one of the very few non-Human Admirals in Starfleet.
Khobrah, posing with his trusty assistant and two ichthyoids who didn't make the crew!
