Vincent Price ............ Captain Seetamyn One of the Masters of Horror, with Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, Lon Chaney, Jr., Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi, Mr. Price will be joining us from beyond the grave. Although he has no 'major' awards, Mr. Price did receive the 1986 Lifetime achievement award from the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films and a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Khobrah Recommends: The Abominable Dr. Phibes Kristanna Loken .......... Commander Thog A professional model since she was 15, she will be most recognizable to Americans as the Terminatrix from Terminator 3 or, possibly the TV series Mortal Kombat: Conquest Khobrah Recommends: T3: Rise of the Machines Christian Bale ........... Lieutenant Commander Gisech After winning numerous awards at the age of 13 for his part in Empire of the Sun, he went on to play Jim Hawkins in the 1990 TV version of Treasure Island. He then did some voice acting and took on some smaller roles until 2002 when he played Cleric John Preston in the seminal Equilibrium Lately, he's been cast as the new Batman in Batman Begins Khobrah Reccommends: Equilibrium Christopher Lloyd ........ Commander Ustrano (voice) First known as Reverend Jim on the TV series Taxi, Mr. Lloyd then became known as Professor Brown in the "Back to the Future" movies. A veteran of over 200 plays, Mr. Lloyd has also lent his voice to several animated series. Especially as The Hacker on PBS's CyberChase. Mr. Lloyd has won three Emmy awards in his career. Khobrah Recommends: My Favorite Martian Lance Henriksen .......... Security Chief Banjo A small part in the original Terminator, a larger part in Aliens and then a TV series (Millenium) have kept Mr. Henrikson in the Sci-Fi forefront. Of course he DOES have nearly 100 movie credits as well. Mr. Henriksen has won a Saturn Award. Khobrah Recommends: Pumpkinhead or Mindripper Lea Thompson ............. Doctor Pish Jantoo After hanging around the edges of the '80s 'Brat Pack' (she was Tom Cruise's love interest in All the Right Moves Ms. Thompson faded from view until the TV series Caroline in the City from 1995-1999 Khobrah Recommends: Re-runs of Caroline in the City Moon Lee/Maggie Cheung ... B1 & B2 Ms Lee was born on Valentine's Day in the same year as the famous author, Khobrah ;) With over 30 film credits to her name, she is,perhaps best know for her roles in the Mr. Vampire series and the Angel series (both HK movie series) Khobrah Recommends: Mr. Vampire Ms Cheung is about six months older than Miss Lee. Although she has over 70 movie credits to her name, American audiences will probably only recognize her as "Jackie Chan's girlfriend" in such movies as Supercop, Twin Dragons and Police Story The lucky ones may have caught her in the recent release, Hero. Last year Ms Cheung won the Cannes Best Actress Award and she has won many Hong Kong Film Socienty Awards. Khobrah Recommends: Hero Louise Jameson ........... Lieutenant M'Dral Anyone who watched Doctor Who on PBS during the 70's or early 80's couldn't help but notice Leela, one of Tom Baker's most recognizable companions. Most recently, Ms Jameson has been appearing in stage performances in her native England. Khobrah Recommends: Re-runs of Doctor Who (esp. "The Horror of Fang Rock") Tony Shalhoub ............. Lieutenant Dil Mantron Probably first seen playing Antonio Scarpacci on the TV series Wings throughout the 90's, Mr. Shaloub then appeared in small, but memorable roles in such films as 'Gattaca' and 'Galaxy Quest', bit parts in Spy Kids 2 and 3 and, finally got his own TV series. Monk is still running. Mr Shalhoub has an Emmy, a Golden Globe and two Screen Actors Guild awards, so far. Khobrah Recommends: Galaxy Quest John Goodman ............. Lieutenant Aceed Sperr C.H.U.D., The Borrowers, The Flinstones, and Fallen might not be the first movies that come to mind when you think of John Goodman. If not, you're watching the wrong movies! ;) Oh yeah, he had some TV series, too! Mr. Goodman has won two American Comedy Awards, and a Golden Globe. Khobrah Recommends: Arachniphobia or Fallen Morgan Freeman ........... Ensign Hirthnole The career of Morgan Freeman has been amazing, although the only major award he has recieved has been a Golden Globe for his part in Driving Miss Daisy. I still think The Unforgiven, The Shawshank Redemption and Se7ev were his best work. Khobrah Recommends: The Shawshank Redemption Michael Palin ............ Ensign Zamtra You might recognize Mr. Palin from his work on A Fish Called Wanda (for which he won a BAFTA Award. You might recognize him from Fierce Creatures. You may even know him as the voice of 'Rat' in the TV specials The Wind in the Willows and The Willows in Winter. But, if you didn't immediately recognize him as being one of the original Monty Pythons then there is truly no hope for you! Khobrah Recommends: Monty Python and the Holy Grail Dina Meyer ............... Linnea Dragonheart,Starship Troopers, Bats and the TV series, Birds of Prey should all ring bells for Dina Meyer fans. Traks fans may also recognize her from her part in Star Trek: Nemesis Khobrah Recommends: Dragonheart Lam Ching Ying ........... Admiral Sontak Last, but by no means least, the venerable master, himself, Master Lam also joins us from beyond the grave. Given the nature of his movies, this is not so unrealistic! In addition to being a great actor, Master Lam was also a stuntman and fight choreographer. He worked with Bruce Lee, Jet Li, Sammo Hung and every other notable actor in Hong Kong. He was, at one time, the highest paid TV actor in Hong Kong, being paid $1,000,000HK for his role in the Vampire Expert series. Master Lam won one Hong Kong Film Award during his career. Khobrah Recommends: Mr. Vampire or Magic Cop.
